Cancellation and refund policy

This policy explains cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, access issues, and refunds for Mobile Mechanic GTA services. If anything here conflicts with applicable law, the law prevails.

1. Quote Requests vs Booked Appointments

  • Submitting a quote request does not create a booked appointment.
  • A visit is considered booked only after we confirm a date and time by email, text, or phone.

2. Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling is free with 24+ hours notice (subject to availability).
  • Rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice may be treated as a late cancellation.

3. Cancellations

  • 24+ hours before the appointment: no cancellation fee.
  • Less than 24 hours: a late cancellation fee may apply to help cover staffing and travel.

4. No-Show and No Access

If we arrive and cannot access the vehicle/location (incorrect address, no gate/buzzer access, building restrictions, missing entry instructions, or required parking constraints), it may be treated as a no-show and a fee may apply.

5. Deposits and Refunds

  • Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances and service status.
  • If a deposit was collected (when applicable), it may be refundable only under the rules above.
  • Completed services are generally not refundable, but we will work with you on any issues.

6. Service Concerns

If you are not satisfied, contact us within 24 hours with details (and photos if possible). When reasonable, we may offer a revisit for missed items.
